The more I think about it, the more I hope that I/good friends of mine have a New Year's party. We ended up going to lame campus parties last year, and I don't wanna do that again. I think it would be really fun to have a party somewhere that we can stay put and not walk around in heels drunk on high street. It could be so much fun! And I wouldn't get sick this way, because there would be no sketchy punch and/or funky pot smoke. I'm getting excited for a fun new years! They usually suck...the only thing that didn't suck about last year was getting together with Tom.

New Year's always sucks for me too. Last year was fun, but previous years, it seems like there's so much working up to the night that when it gets there, I'm always disappointed. I think the year before that, Jessi and I just ended up hanging out at home. It was kind of nice. But yes, I do hope that there's something worthwhile this year. I hesitate to do a party here because I want to be a good neighbor. Guess we'll see how it goes!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't ask anyone to go all the way up to your house anyway. If memory serves, not drinking and driving was the reason I didn't go to yours last year. You live too far away from me!
